Magnetization Prepared 2 Rapid Acquisition Gradient Echoes
Magnetization Prepared 2 Rapid Acquisition Gradient Echoes (MP2RAGE) is a fast 3D T1 sequence with a very high contrast that creates superior grey matter/white matter differentiation, showing a higher brain tissue and lesion contrast in multiple sclerosis patients.
Metal Artifact Reduction Sequence
Metal Artifact Reduction Sequence ensures the best quality images are produced by minimizing the image artifacts and distortion caused by metal implants throughout the body. Commonly this is used evaluating the spine after surgery with fusion hardware in place.
Motion Correction in 3 Planes
Motion Correction in 3 Planes addresses both in-plane and through-plane motion artifacts.
MRI Brain with Cerebral Spinal Fluid Flow
MRI Brain with Cerebral Spinal Fluid (CSF) Flow evaluates the flow of CSF around the brain, brainstem or spinal cord.
Susceptibility Weighted Imaging
Susceptibility Weighted Imaging (SWI) is an MRI sequence that is exquisitely sensitive to venous blood, hemorrhages, and iron storage, making it commonly used in the diagnosis/treatment of head injuries and concussions.
Diffusion Tensor Imaging
Becoming more common in the treatment of tumors and brain injuries; Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) is used to visualize, assess, and build 3D models of white matter fiber tracts of the brain.
NeuroQuant®
NeuroQuant®, a medical software, provides volumetric measurements of brain structures and compares the volumes to normative reference data adjusted for age, sex, and intracranial volume. This is very useful following patients with dementia, seizures, and neurodegenerative diseases.
